Meet The Team

Claire NewmanDirector

Claire’s career began in print supplies by started own business, after marrying Andy, 35 years ago. She trained to print on small offset for 15 years, alongside 20 years in planning/platemaking, and into new technologies. Now she is the front end of business dealing daily with clients and overseeing work progresses. Claire’s hobbies include golf, gardening, dog walking, cycling locally and pencil drawing, her favourite artist is John Constable.

Andy NewmanManaging Director

Andy, began his career in print with a 6 year apprenticeship. He continued into the print industry in focusing on Litho printing. He worked for local companies, London Newspapers and then in South Africa. His wealth of experience on small offset up to web machines means we can cover all knowledge of print. He then went into sales, selling print related supplies home and export, finally starting own business with Claire, his wife. His hobbies include clay shooting, golf, fishing and he is a member of the local village club.

Howard Wilkins Director

Coming from Lloyds of London insurance, with his Mac knowledge, Howard joined us in accounts but trained in planning/platemaking and output of files to print. Many customers rely on his enduring patience to reformat non press ready formats to print ready files for clients using his knowledge to guide them how to supply artwork efficiently. Howard ‘s hobbies include cycling especially abroad when younger, enjoying the Sussex coastline and playing guitar for fun.

Stephanie YoungCreative Design

Working in collaboration with Swan Press, saydesign.co.uk has been providing customers with graphic design services for over over 24 years. She has worked for a variety of clients including global brands, city publications, entertainment venues and local independent businesses. The knowledge gained over the years is instrumental to the success and respect that #saydesignUK continues to grow today.
